Star Wars Meta: Obi-Wan & Anakin maybe kinda care about each other a little bit!

ღ - Me: "I don't really even like true crime that much!" Me, five minutes later: "So, I'm going to give Last Podcast on the Left another shot, this time starting with the Dr. Josef Mengele episode!" While I have to turn the sound down, because everyone sounds like they're shouting, I'm so far really engaged with the episode, the hosts have clearly done a lot of research, there's an appropriate amount of outrage about the subject and horrors that were committed, while not making me feel like it's draining away my will to live.

I'll be glad if I can get into the swing of this podcast, it seems like everyone loves it, but I never could quite get into it before, and I need something to listen to that's not just more Star Wars, at least until there's a second season of Cocaine and Rhinestones. ;)

ღ - I haven't watched The Dragon Prince season 2 yet and I don't really have a reason, I guess I'm just not in a watching things mood. Or I'm really tired lately, idk. I have been curious about The Umbrella Academy, I've seen it mentioned around a lot, and have been wondering if it's worth picking up!

Look, I’m not saying Anakin “nose pressed to the transparisteel when worried about the person he loves” Skywalker broods about Obi-Wan and Padme in the same way, but I’m not not saying it, either.

OKAY, NO, I’M DEFINITELY SAYING IT.

Anakin probably radiates worry and anxiety and fear in the Force when he’s worried about the person he loves, he wants to reach out and touch them, his hands press up against the transparisteel like he could almost touch he could almost reassure himself that they’re still there, that they’re all right, that they will be all right.

It’s such a small gesture but it says so much about the way Anakin is a physical creature, he wants so badly to reassure himself that they’re still there, these two people who both have his heart.

I mean, I was skeptical at first, but I think it might just be a little bit true that they cared about each other! JUST A SMIDGE, THOUGH, I'M SURE IT'S NOTHING MORE THAN THAT, NOTHING LIKE A DECADES LONG REVOLVING THEIR LIVES AROUND EACH OTHER KIND OF THING. XD

Obi-Wan, interrupting every conversation in the Jedi temple with "Have you heard what Anakin did today? LET ME TELL YOU!" *pulls out ALL the holopics*

Obi-Wan is basically going to be out on a date for the first time in a year, since Anakin came to the Temple, and it's going to be like that Weird Al parody video:



Also, you know there's at least three different life-size Obi-Wan cardboard stand-ups in Anakin's closet and, after the first time Obi-Wan tried to open it and they fell out and it was Extremely Uncomfortable for a good thirty seconds before he was like, I Am Not Dealing With This Today Because I Have Thirty Other Things To Deal With, after that Anakin never let him near the closet again. (Also there may be a few of Obi-Wan's robes in there that he's made a nest out of.)

Anakin doesn't just pick up the ones Obi-Wan discards on the battlefield, sometimes he just straight up steals them out of Obi-Wan's closet. And probably he steals some of Obi-Wan's blankets every so often, as soon as the ones he has lose their smell, he goes to replace them, because, look, there are a lot of things I'm willing to bend on, but Anakin Skywalker having an Obi-Wan shrine in his closet with a nest and probably some fairy lights strung up as well, IS NOT ONE OF THEM. ;)
